don't you have times when u advise someone but the person doesn't take your advice, and in the end, things would have turned out better if the person took your advice?

that's what makes me so frustrated now. was i too dictative or what? why couldn't he just see the sense in it and think about what i said? no job prospects, low wages, people resigning one after another.. just do the math! opportunity cost of slogging your ass off there is higher than if you were to change your job. no, you didn't listen, chose to stay till the bonus, which i calculated and it wasn't worth it compared to all that pay cut, and now you need my help to print the resignation letter. which, btw, you would leave the dates blank (again) 'cause you're not sure when you're really gonna throw that letter in whoever's face. f*** it man. fine, it was quite mean of me to give you the "i told you so" tone, but i did waste a lot of saliva telling you which was the better way out. so now you're telling me you're regretting, that's your problem ok?

seriously, what's the problem with guys huh? when they want to avoid a problem, they just say "i don't feel like/don't want to talk about it" and just shrug it off. come on, you can't always run away from things. you're gonna face them sooner or later.

guess what the doc said when i told him my symptoms? i got tonsillitis! no wonder i could hardly swallow! luckily he gave me a more effective antibotic and anti-swelling pills so it hurts much less now. my spirits have lifted! :)

i found this disgusting pic on wikipedia which shows tonsillitis. no wonder my mom nearly screamed when the doc showed her my throat just this afternoon. it probably looked something like this:

my throat hurts damn bad now! i think i got a throat inflammation, 'cause it hurts when i press my throat. fever has gone down, but not guaranteed it won't come back again. :( arghhhh. so damn suey. of all days i had to be sick on greg's birthday party (which also happens to be halloween night at zouk) which i promised long ago that i'll definitely be there. and i didn't. sigh. i was cooped up in bed most of the time and feeling all ache-y and cold. this is one of the worst i've felt in dunno how long..

i'll see the doc tomorrow after school. hope it won't worsen when i wake up tomorrow. >_<

p.s. was really touched by my darling today 'cause he came over specially to see me, armed with a bottle of herbal tea. :)
